She remained by the waterfall
until it was utterly dark
only starlight illuminating red poppies
defining the space around her
breathing in watery mist
she barely dipped her toes
into her pool of memories
arms heavy with strength and wealth
trial and error
hope and tragedy
suffering and painful beauty
not wishing to relive or revise her life
not seeking forgiveness or understanding
she regrets nothing
