I began my artistic career at an early age. I started by carving in wood, and later on in stone. These were somewhat gratifying to me, but I did not feel that I had found my calling.

I tried my hand painting, and from that point forward, you could barely get the brush from my hand. I fell in love with it and found a great passion for it. I tried several mediums and settled on oils at the time.

I feel I was most influenced by the turn of the century impressionist and the mid century abstraction movement

I love to try new materials and methods, and feel that, no, it is not all been done before.

I have developed a couple of methods and material combinations of my own. I continue to try new materials and seek to use interesting and different color combinations.
